| In this course officers are taught how to stop a punch or kick using a PR-24® baton block. Officers also learn how to effectively restrain (lock-up) a subject using the assistance of a PR-24® baton. Thus, handcuffing a subject's wrists is quick and safe, standing or prone on the ground. Baton strikes are taught too, but not EMPHASIZED as in other baton training programs. We emphasize PR-24® blocking skills and PR-24® assisted restraint holds. | |
